The name Fabrikant is legendary and without peer in the jewelry industry. With a history dating back generations in New York, Peter Fabrikant grew up as an apprentice in the family business. In 1973, he went out his own and joined his uncle, Bill Fabrikant, whose iconic jewelry exchange was located at the corner of 47th Street and Fifth Avenue. There, Peter began to hone what developed into a vast and unrivaled expertise in estate jewelry buying and sales.

In 1992, Peter partnered with his cousin and formed, Andrew & Peter Fabrikant, which specialized in buying pre-owned jewelry, a market that was virtually non-existent at the time.
